From February 17th to 19th, 2025, the 2nd Semiconductor Forum: “Consolidating the Talent Ecosystem in Mexico” was held in Tijuana, Baja California. The event brought together government, industry and academic leaders from Mexico and the U.S. to strengthen development in this strategic sector.

The forum began with the graduation of 110 professors and researchers trained in semiconductor design and manufacturing, supported by Banco Santander México.

Organized by the Semiconductor Alliance, the event featured keynote speeches, panels, and site visits to key institutions such as Qualcomm, Infineon, UABC, and CETYS University, reinforcing Baja California’s role as a national leader in semiconductor talent development.
